Line-level findings

A review you can make a decision from.

Most automated review tools summarize a diff. FineComb builds a case: what changed, where the risk travels, what proves each finding, and whether this exact head is ready.

01

Pin the evidence

Base, head, and merge-base are recorded before analysis. A new push makes the old verdict visibly stale.

02

Trace the system

Entry points, permissions, data writes, retries, downstream consumers, tests, and deployment effects are reviewed as one path.

03

Challenge every claim

Potential blockers must survive an explicit attempt to disprove them. Noise is removed before anything reaches your PR.

Clear findings.
No theater.

Every comment names the impact, evidence, and smallest safe correction. The summary carries a single merge recommendation.

P1 · MUST FIX

Repository access follows a mutable username

The authorization lookup uses the actor login from the webhook. GitHub usernames can change, so a later account can inherit the trusted name without inheriting its identity.

Smallest safe fix
Authorize against the immutable numeric GitHub user ID and keep the login as display data only.
